About the instructor.

Hi, I’m Katie, a professional artist working in painting and sculpture. I started The Art Playground to make art fun, social and accessible to everyone- especially beginners.

  • We're a team of passionate artists, dedicated to introducing the magic of art to more people. Collaboration and curiosity drive everything we do.

  • We believe that every human is inately creative. Our goal is to provide an experience which is both fun and informative. Every student that comes to our classes is different, and with that we try and make each person’s experience as custom as possible.

  • From other artists, to schools, cafes, restaurants, to private groups we work with people who are interested in breaking down the dullness of their routine and get out of their box to get their hands covered in paint!

Your Questions, Answered

  • No, beginners are welcome.

  • Yes, to our community events, many people do. However we require a minimum of 3 people to go through with an event. So it never hurts to invite a few friends :)

  • Usually around 2-3 hours
